9/27/2006: Observatory temporary Webcam installed. (Scroll down to see live video feed) This will be replaced with an Axis 213 PTZ robotic IP camera with Infrared night vision in the next week or so. Click the links below to go to the camera gallery and chat section.

8/4/2006: The Astro Photos page is finally open. It has been a long demanding summer with little time available for the observatory. The finishing touches on the observatory are not complete, but, the equipment is now fully functional. That is the important part. So, what's a little paint and fluff as long as the equipment is ready? The Paramount ME has been adjusted and TPoint mapped to 502 points. The RMS pointing accuracy of the system is currently 9.8 Arc-Seconds. There's still a lot of work to do, but at least I can take photos while finishing the rest.

5/17/2006: Observatory page UPDATE! NEW photos posted! AND... It's STILL raining! Bah! ;-)

5/15/2006: The Observatory is operational. The AP 155 has replaced the C14 and the TV-127 for now.

5/10/06: 108Mbps wireless network operational. The 7200AP's bridged on the 'A' side and left the 'G' side for connections.

5/6/2006: The Observatory building is DONE! (By the way... Has anyone seen the stars lately? The clouds continue to persist. LOL) Now the equipment setup can get underway. The creation of the wire monster has started.The mount will be checked for polar and adjusted. Dirt work still needed, but will be done later after the monsoon. Trim painting needed, and will be complete this week. Started working the wireless 108Mbps network to the shed. Soon as the second 808HV arrives, the 2 7200AP's will be bridged to link the DSL here with the obs network. More photos coming soon!
